This week delivers LiveView Native Core. Core is a reimplementation of Phoenix Channels and LiveView DOM diff merging/patching in Rust. This core library is intended to be a single implementation that can be compiled into any target platform client without having the re-implement Channels and LiveView per platform.
Work has already begun to integrate this into the SwiftUI client as our first implementation.
That’s it for this week. Not much on the content side but getting Core complete was a major milestone that can allow client development to move forward! We should start to see progress in the following weeks to get us aligned with SwiftUI itself.
We are hiring for work on the LiveView Native SwiftUI Client. We have a lot of work ahead of us and we need more help. Reach out!
